What is OpenBrain?

OpenBrain is a plasmoid (desktop widget) for the KDE4 desktop. It is a simple desktop assistant and question answering 'bot'. It attempts to allow users to give english instructions to the computer instead of shell commands and start menu browsing. It 'understands' simple things currently like 'start firefox', 'calculate 99*76' or 'google items'. It is also quite efficient at chatting and answering trivial things like 'who is linus torvalds?' or 'what is PI?'. See the roadmap for future changes and hopes for OpenBrain.
